Norwich man jailed for depraved online child abuse and indecent images

NORWICH MAN JAILED FOR DEPRAVED ONLINE CHILD ABUSE AND INDECENT IMAGES

A court has heard that Bradley Moore, a 31-year-old man from Norwich, was involved in disturbing online activities involving a young girl.

Moore engaged in conversations with a woman, during which he quickly shifted the topic toward her 11-year-old daughter and repeatedly demanded photographs of the child in the bath.

These photos were eventually sent to him.

The court was informed that Moore told the woman he wanted to have sex with both her and her daughter in the same bed.

The proceedings revealed that Moore had been messaging the woman while on bail for other sex offences.

It was also disclosed that he had lent his phone to a friend, who discovered multiple indecent images, including 73 Category A images, 89 Category B images, and 86 Category C images depicting very young children, which were reported to police.

Moore admitted to encouraging another person to take nude photos of a child and also confessed to three counts of making indecent images of a child, covering the period from January 2023 to December 2024.

The judge described his behaviors as 'utterly depraved' and noted that the images on his device showed 'vile abuse' of children.

As a consequence, Moore was sentenced to 18 months in prison and placed under an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, as well as being registered as a sex offender permanently.
