In August 2019, a man from Great Yarmouth named Brad Pitts was sentenced to three and a half years in prison following his involvement in a disturbing case of online grooming and sexual misconduct.

The incident dates back to March 2016, when Pitts, then 19 years old, engaged in conversations with a 15-year-old girl via social media platforms.

According to court reports, Pitts was aware of the girl’s age but continued to communicate with her, ultimately arranging to meet in person.

The meeting took place in a local park in Great Yarmouth, where Pitts engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with the minor.
