FORMER NORFOLK PAEDOPHILE HUNTER HAS APPEARED IN COURT
A 26-year-old man, who had previously participated in efforts to hunt down paedophiles, was discovered to possess over 400 highly explicit pornographic images.Authorities uncovered these images on three different devices following a raid at a residence in Coniston Square, Great Yarmouth.
Court proceedings at Norwich Crown Court revealed that Waller, who had once been involved with online groups targeting paedophiles, possessed a total of 409 illegal images, including a video depicting a woman subjected to a "violent oral rape." The search also uncovered photos of adults engaging in sexual acts with animals.
Waller, residing on Wadham Road, Gorleston, appeared before the court on Wednesday (June 24) after previously admitting to possessing extreme pornographic content.
He was sentenced to an 18-month community order, which includes up to 35 days of Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR).
Additionally, he was imposed an 18-month mental health treatment requirement, fined £50, and ordered to pay £150 in costs.
Judge Anthony Bate acknowledged Waller’s cooperation in confessing, stating he deserved “substantial credit,” and noted that Waller was a defendant with “particular vulnerabilities.”
