BERRY BROW MAN BARRY SEALS PLEADS GUILTY TO BEATING HIS PARTNER LOUISE HENDERSON
A 53-year-old man lashed out when his girlfriend accused him of cheating on her a court heard.
Barry Seals, of Wain Court, pleaded guilty to assaulting Louise Henderson by beating her.
The case was heard at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court, where prosecutor Ben Crosland stated that Seals accepted he inflicted injuries on Henderson after seeing photographs.
The couple maintained separate properties, and the relationship was described as "somewhat volatile." On April 19, Miss Henderson went out in Newsome with a former partner of Seals and returned to his address.
During a discussion about his infidelity, Seals lashed out, and Henderson left with scratches on her.
A neighbor heard raised voices, and threats were made.
Seals was sentenced to be bailed until August 7 with conditions not to contact Miss Henderson or visit Caldercliffe Road, Berry Brow.
