RISCA MAN JAILED FOR RAPE AND DEGRADING ASSAULT USING SEX TOY
POLICE have released the mugshot of a man who was jailed for raping a woman and used a sex toy to “degrade” her during a campaign of sexual abuse.
Balazs Uliczki, 45, a Hungarian national living in Risca, used his victim for his own “sexual desires,” a judge said.
He had also employed violence during the assaults, which included vaginal and anal rape.
Uliczki was found guilty after a trial at Newport Crown Court of seven offences, including six counts of rape and one of assault by penetration.
He had denied all charges.
Prosecutor Ieuan Bennett read her impact statement, stating: “I haven’t been able to move on with my life as I had to recall it all over again.
I don’t think I’ll be able to trust another man.
I lived my life in fear – I was so scared of him.” The judge noted that Uliczki used a vibrator in some of the offences to “degrade” his victim.
The victim said: “I was scared to leave my own home and I was always looking over my shoulder.” Uliczki, who followed proceedings with the help of a Hungarian interpreter, had a previous conviction for harassment.
Judge Celia Hughes sentenced him to 11 years in prison, with an order to register as a sex offender indefinitely, and to abide by a restraining order not to contact the victim.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge.
