In December 2015, Bahmani Ahmadi, who has been labeled as one of the 'most dangerous' paedophiles in the United Kingdom, faced a significant legal setback when his initial prison sentence was extended by an additional two years.

This decision followed an appeal that found his original sentence of four and a half years to be unduly lenient given the severity of his crimes.

Ahmadi was convicted of multiple sexual offenses involving more than ten young girls, some of whom were as young as 11 years old.
