AYLIN HADAROV'S SHOCKING CRIME IN BEVERLEY AND BULGARIA: A PREDATOR'S REIGN OF TERROR

In April 2019, a disturbing incident unfolded in the town of Beverley, involving a man with a troubling history of sexual offenses. Aylin Hadarov, aged 33 and residing in Beverley, was found to have targeted a vulnerable 14-year-old boy in a public toilet located within the town’s train station. The attack occurred while Hadarov was reportedly under the influence of cocaine, which appeared to fuel his predatory behavior during the assault.

According to court reports, Hadarov approached the young teenager and made explicit sexual advances. He repeatedly told the boy, “Let me suck your dick,” in a disturbing and aggressive manner. The assault escalated as Hadarov attempted to physically touch the boy, pulling on his belt and stroking his left thigh. The terrified victim, overwhelmed by fear, shouted loudly, “what the fuck, no,” in an effort to alert others and seek help. However, Hadarov responded by making a shushing gesture, indicating he wanted the boy to remain silent.

Feeling trapped and helpless, the boy watched as Hadarov left the scene shortly afterward. The young victim quickly fled the toilets, grabbed his bicycle from the nearby racks, and made his way away from the station. He later confided in his girlfriend, crying and revealing that he had been sexually assaulted by a stranger. The trauma of the incident left a lasting impact on him, prompting him to seek counseling. Prosecutors at Hull Crown Court detailed the profound effect the assault had on the teenager’s mental health and daily life.

Claire Holmes, representing the prosecution, explained that the attack had significantly disrupted the boy’s routine. He now avoids the station altogether, leaves immediately upon arrival, and is fearful of using public toilets. His anxiety extends to places like McDonald's, where he has to have a friend watch the door while he uses the restroom. The incident has also caused mood swings, irritability, and difficulty at school, to the extent that his mother had to intervene and explain his situation to teachers. The court was told that upon learning of Hadarov’s arrest, the boy felt a sense of relief, and his confidence is gradually returning. His primary desire now is to move past the trauma and regain a sense of normalcy.

Following the assault, the boy’s mother took him to Beverley Police Station, where he was visibly upset and agitated. His father, who was driving home from Doncaster, was contacted and expressed feelings of helplessness, unable to comfort his son in person. The police released CCTV footage showing Hadarov at the train station, which led to his identification by a member of the public at a local bookmaker’s shop. Subsequently, Hadarov was arrested on October 14.

Further investigations revealed a disturbing pattern of sexual misconduct by Hadarov. It was disclosed that this was not his first offense involving teenage boys. In his hometown of Bulgaria, on April 9, 2014, Hadarov received a two-and-a-half-year suspended sentence after sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy. During that incident, he threatened the victim with a knife and forcibly engaged in sexual acts. As part of his sentence, Hadarov was placed on the sexual offenders register and was prohibited from being around boys under the age of 16 for a period of ten years, unless explicitly permitted.

This case highlights the ongoing threat posed by individuals with a history of sexual offenses, especially those who continue to target vulnerable minors across different countries. The court’s proceedings underscore the importance of vigilant law enforcement and community awareness in preventing such heinous acts from recurring.
