STOKE-ON-TRENT PERVERT ABUSES EIGHT GIRLS - NOW HE'S JAILED FOR 14 YEARS
Ashley Jepson has been jailed for 14 years at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after pleading guilty to 21 sexual offences, including three charges of making an indecent image of a child; multiple offences of sexual communication with a child; engaging in sexual activity with a child; and multiple offences of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Jepson, aged 32, encouraged schoolgirls to engage in sexual acts, with eight victims aged eight to 13 in seven months.
He was arrested when police attended his Stoke-on-Trent home in 2024.
Prosecutor Antony Longworth read moving victim impact statements from the children and their parents, revealing trauma, confusion, and difficulty trusting others.
Jepson, of no fixed address, self-referred to the Lucy Faithfull Foundation.
He expressed remorse and sought support to address his offending behavior.
He is on the Sex Offenders' Register for life and subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Judge Smith emphasized the grooming, manipulation, and abuse, dismissing Jepson's claim of no sexual interest in children and noting his searches for young girls' porn.
Jepson must serve two-thirds of his sentence before consideration for release.
