TELFORD MAN SENTENCED TO SEVEN YEARS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST EX-PARTNERS
Arron Moss, aged 34 and residing on Prince Charles Crescent in Telford, was found guilty and sentenced for a series of violent domestic crimes involving two former partners. His arrest in November 2024 followed a 999 call from a woman seeking help, during which she disclosed details of severe abuse.
Police investigations revealed that Moss was responsible for several offenses, including controlling and coercive conduct, three counts of actual bodily harm, non-fatal strangulation, and criminal damage against one of the women.
Additionally, it was discovered that Moss had previously admitted guilt in September 2024 to charges including controlling and coercive behavior, two counts of actual bodily harm, non-fatal strangulation, and criminal damage involving another victim.
On August 7, Moss appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court where he received a seven-year prison sentence for eight counts stemming from both incidents, covering controlling and coercive conduct, five charges of actual bodily harm, non-fatal strangulation, and criminal damage.
Law enforcement described Moss’s actions as some of the most severe domestic violence cases they have encountered and praised the bravery of the victims who came forward.
The case also indicated a recurring pattern of abusive behavior, showing this was not a one-time offense.
Authorities continue to support victims of domestic abuse, providing assistance through organizations such as Women’s Aid and Crimestoppers.
