SWINDON TEEN AND GLOUCESTER PAIR JAILED FOR SADISTIC SEX ATTACK
Two teenage boys, aged 17, received a 10-year prison sentence each after committing a brutally sadistic sexual assault on a young boy.Kane Lammin, who lives in Gloucester, and Anthony Ford from Swindon, forced their victim to disrobe while threatening him with a knife.
The assault took place in a house cellar in Gloucester, during which the victim was subjected to various acts of violence, including having cement powder rubbed into his face and being burned with a lit cigarette.
At Gloucester Crown Court, Judge William Hart lifted the ban on revealing their identities as part of the sentencing process.
Both Ford and Lammin had admitted to serious sexual assaults earlier in court proceedings, with Ford also pleading guilty to rape.
The judge described the victim’s experience in November 2012 as overwhelmingly painful, humiliating, and terrifying, emphasizing that the psychological trauma inflicted on him is likely immeasurable.
The court heard that the assailants tricked the victim into going down into the cellar of the house, where they assaulted him using a broom handle and other objects.
Lammin mixed concrete powder with tile grout on a mop and used it to smear the victim’s face, then burned him with a cigarette, according to court evidence.
The victim managed to break free when the assailants went upstairs, running naked to seek help at his mother’s home.
Judge Hart revealed that Ford told a friend of the victim, “The kid’s lucky because I wanted to kill him.” Prosecutor Virginia Cornwall stated that the victim endured a continuous ordeal, assaulted both physically and sexually by the pair, who used weapons and engaged in degrading acts meant to shame him.
A female friend of the victim, who preferred to remain anonymous, expressed satisfaction with the sentence, labeling the attackers as “utter scum” and wishing them eternal damnation for their actions.
