COURT ROUND-UP: MAN DENIES HISTORIC SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES

A DODWORTH man has pleaded not guilty to nine historic sexual assaults.

Andrew Walmsley, of The Link, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court earlier this month where he entered not guilty pleas to all charges.

It’s alleged the offences – which include multiple counts of indecent assault and gross indecency on one male – occurred between 1995 and 1999 when the accused was a teenager.

The 44-year-old’s trial will take place at the same court on May 22, 2028.
