EARLSTON MAN CHARGES WITH 5 SEX OFFENCES INVOLVING A WOMAN AND CHILD FOUND NOT GUILTY
AN EARLSTON man accused of five sex offences involving a woman and a child under 16 has walked free following a jury trial at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.Fifty-five-year-old Andrew Noble had been accused of three sexual assaults and an indecent assault.
He had also faced a fifth charge of engaging in sexual activity in front of the underage teenager by carrying out a sex act on himself.
The offences were alleged to have been committed at houses in Earlston and Tweedbank between 2003 and 2023.
Following two days of evidence, Noble was found not guilty of all five charges.
Jury trial
