PORT GLASGOW MAN ADMITS SHOUTING DEROGATORY REMARKS AT PARTNER
A PORT Glasgow man with a record for domestic offences has admitted to hurling offensive abuse at his partner and threatening to harm himself with a knife.Andrew Findlay pleaded guilty through lawyer Gerry Keenan to a charge of acting in an aggressive manner, shouting and uttering derogatory remarks towards the woman at a property in the Port's Highholm Street earlier this year.
Findlay, 33, also took possession of a knife during the July 9 incident and uttered threats to harm himself with the blade.
Sentence has been deferred until December 13 for background reports to be completed along with a restriction of liberty order assessment.
Findlay's bail has been continued meantime.
