ALEX HOPKINSON FROM NEW ADDINGTON ESCAPES JAIL AFTER CHILD INDECENCY CHARGES IN CROYDON
In a high-profile case at Croydon Crown Court, Alex Hopkinson, a resident of Uvedale Crescent in New Addington, faced serious allegations related to child exploitation and extreme pornography.The court proceedings revealed disturbing details about Hopkinson’s activities, which included possessing a significant number of indecent images of a child, as well as creating and possessing extreme pornographic material involving disturbing acts.
Hopkinson, aged 36, was convicted of possessing 25 indecent images of a minor, a crime that was established during a trial in November.
Despite this conviction, he was acquitted of 13 other child sex offences that had been part of the initial investigation.
The court also heard that Hopkinson had pleaded guilty to two separate charges concerning extreme pornographic content on January 7.
