AIDEN HAMBELTON FROM GOLDBOROUGH SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST YOUNG BOYS
Aiden Hambelton, a 19-year-old resident of Goldthorpe, has been handed down a four-year prison sentence following his conviction on multiple serious charges related to the sexual exploitation of young boys.The court heard that Hambelton engaged in online grooming activities, targeting boys approximately 10 years old, with the intent of luring them into inappropriate and harmful situations.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Hambelton had shown these young victims explicit content, which he used as a means to manipulate and control them.
In one disturbing incident, he physically assaulted one of the boys, further demonstrating his predatory behavior.
The court was also informed that Hambelton had a prior encounter with law enforcement, having received a police caution back in 2015, which highlights a troubling pattern of offending.
