ADAM JEBY SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT IN HOUNSLOW AND ISLEWORTH

The incident involved a teenage girl who was subjected to a heinous assault while traveling on public transportation and afterward in a public space.

Adam Jeby, aged 24 and with no fixed address, was brought before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 25, 2019. During the hearing, he pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including two counts of sexual assault, criminal damage, and assault by beating. The court proceedings revealed the gravity of his actions and led to a sentencing that would see him serve four years in prison, along with an extended license period of two additional years, at Isleworth Crown Court on the following Friday, September 4.

The criminal case was initiated after a distressing incident on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Police responded to reports at approximately 14:55 hours concerning a sexual assault involving a teenage girl aboard the Route H91 bus in Hounslow. According to witnesses and police reports, the victim was assaulted by Jeby while she was on the bus. The assault did not end there; as she disembarked and waited at a bus stop on Windmill Road, the same individual physically and sexually assaulted her again, causing visible facial injuries. After the attack, the suspect walked away in the direction of York Road, leaving the victim shaken and injured.

Following the incident, detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command launched a detailed investigation. Their efforts included canvassing the area and reviewing surveillance footage. On October 23, 2019, an officer conducting inquiries in the Hatton Cross vicinity noticed a male matching the suspect’s description boarding a Route 490 bus. The officer followed the individual to Heathrow Airport, where he stopped and detained him for questioning. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with the offences related to the assault on the teenage girl.
