A man has been sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted of three separate sexual assault charges involving a young girl.
Adam Hudson, aged 35, residing on Pondfield Road in Colchester, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court where he was sentenced to five years for a single incident of assaulting a girl under the age of 13 by touching, which occurred on a Monday, November 11.
In addition, Hudson received two more sentences of one year each for two other counts of assault on a girl below 13 years old.
These sentences will run simultaneously with his five-year term.
He has been placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for life and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
The victim recounted her experience to another adult following a school lesson, which prompted police to launch an investigation.
Hudson’s conviction results from an extensive inquiry conducted by Essex Police’s Child Abuse Investigation Team, examining offenses that took place between September 2011 and September 2018.
