AARON WALL FROM ST LEONARDS SENTENCED FOR NEARLY 2000 CHILD SEXUAL IMAGES

In a case that has shocked the local community of St Leonards, Aaron Wall, a 45-year-old resident of Terrace Road, was sentenced to eight months in prison after being found guilty of possessing a vast collection of indecent images of children. The proceedings took place at Lewes Crown Court on a recent Tuesday, where Wall appeared to face the consequences of his actions.

Wall had previously admitted to 11 counts of creating indecent images of children, along with two counts of possessing extreme pornographic material. The court was informed that the images in his possession numbered a staggering 1,887, with some classified as level five, indicating the most severe and disturbing category of such material. Additionally, he was found to have ten images classified as extreme pornographic content.

The investigation into Wall’s activities was initiated following a warrant executed at his residence on November 1, 2012. During the search, authorities seized various computer devices and storage media, which were later examined to determine the extent of his offending. Wall was subsequently arrested and released on police bail while forensic analysis of the seized items was carried out.

Detective Constable Kenny Stark commented on the case, emphasizing the importance of ongoing efforts to combat this type of criminal activity. He stated, “We will follow up information about this type of offending, whether it comes from law enforcement as in this case, or from members of the general public.” The case highlights the persistent threat posed by individuals involved in the distribution and possession of child exploitation material, and the police’s commitment to tackling such crimes head-on.
