AADAM MOHAMMAD SENTENCED IN PERTH FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING VICTIMS IN EDINBURGH AND PERTHSHIRE

A 30-year-old man named Aadam Mohammad has been handed down a four-year prison sentence after being found guilty of serious sexual offenses committed in Perth and surrounding areas. The court proceedings revealed disturbing details about his actions, which have shocked the local community and highlighted the ongoing issue of sexual violence.

According to court reports, Mohammad was convicted of raping a woman in December 2009 at a residence in Perth. The incident involved the victim being rendered unconscious, during which Mohammad forcibly removed her clothing and engaged in sexual assault. The court emphasized that at the time of the assault, the woman was unable to give or withhold consent due to her unconscious state, making the act a clear violation of her rights and bodily autonomy.

Initially, Mohammad denied the charges brought against him. However, after a trial at Edinburgh High Court, a jury found him guilty last month. The court's verdict underscored the severity of his actions, which involved non-consensual sexual acts against a vulnerable woman. The case also included a second conviction for indecently assaulting another woman in a vehicle in Perthshire sometime between October 2009 and October 2010. The presiding judge, Lord Summers, ordered that Mohammad serve a four-year prison term for the combined convictions of rape and indecent assault.
