WILLIAM MILLER ADMITS ATTACKING & INJURING CHILDREN
William Miller, aged 57, confessed to a pattern of violence and neglect that spanned over ten years, during which he harmed and mistreated children.
He physically assaulted the children by hitting and kicking them, and also forced them into situations involving drug dealers’ residences.
Additionally, he stole their belongings to fund his drug addiction.
Dundee Sheriff Court was informed that Miller held a boy’s face submerged in water for 20 seconds and struck a girl’s buttocks with a belt.
Deputy Fiscal Larissa Milligan stated that further incidents included Miller kicking a boy and pulling a girl’s hair.
Hailing from Hebrides Drive in Dundee, Miller pleaded guilty to intentionally abusing and neglecting two young children in Arbroath and Dundee from August 2006 through April 2018.
He admitted to taking the children to drug dealer locations while intoxicated, as well as neglecting their needs, stealing money from them, and selling their possessions to buy drugs.
He also pleaded guilty to additional assault charges involving the children.
