WILLIAM LEICESTER FROM SANDBACH SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULTS IN LIVERPOOL AND BOOTLE
In September 2003, a disturbing case involving a serial sex offender from Sandbach culminated in a significant legal judgment.
William Leicester, aged 50 and residing on London Road, was sentenced to 21 months in prison after admitting to multiple charges related to the sexual abuse of a young girl he was entrusted to care for.
Leicester appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on a Tuesday, where he pleaded guilty to four counts of indecent assault.
Additionally, two other charges were taken into account during the sentencing process, highlighting a pattern of disturbing behavior.
Prosecutor Ben Jones detailed that Leicester had molested the girl on several occasions when she was between the ages of 12 and 14.
