CHILD RAPIST WILLIAM ADAMS TO BE SENT BACK TO ENGLAND AFTER NEW SENTENCE
A notorious child rapist, William Adams, will be returned to England to continue his life sentence after serving a three-year term in Northern Ireland. Adams has been imprisoned since 2007 when he was convicted for his horrific abuse of a Liverpool schoolgirl. Recently, he received a three-year sentence after new and disturbing sex offences were uncovered. Adams had previously been convicted of historic sex offences against a boy in County Down following a trial in Belfast earlier this year. Despite his denials, the judge condemned him for forcing his victim to endure the trauma of court proceedings, as reported by the Belfast Telegraph. Adams' criminal activity dates back to the early 1980s, prior to his lifetime sentence in Ireland for raping an eight-year-old girl in Dublin. Adams was also involved in a case where he gained a life sentence for his campaign of rape against a Liverpool schoolgirl. His abuse was further exposed when a brave victim came forward in 2017, leading to his transfer from an English jail to a facility in Northern Ireland in 2019 to face additional charges. His victim continues to suffer nightmares, anxiety, and intrusive memories of the abuse. After his latest conviction, Adams must serve his three-year sentence in Northern Ireland before being extradited back to England to complete his life sentence. Adams' crimes span decades, with multiple convictions, including rape and sexual assault, and he was assisted in his crimes by others, including Father Jeremiah McGrath, who was convicted of facilitating a child sex offence. Adams' criminal history, continued abuse, and recent sentencing highlight the ongoing threat he poses and the justice sought for his victims.
