LEEDS WOMAN ALMOST BEATEN TO DEATH BY BOYFRIEND OVER REFUSAL OF SEX
Disturbing photographs reveal the horrific injuries inflicted on Stephanie Littlewood, a young mother from Leeds, after she was violently attacked by her boyfriend, Wayne Hoban. The assault occurred after she refused to engage in sex, which led Hoban to strangling her and repeatedly punching her in the face.
Stephanie suffered severe bruising, three cracked teeth—including one at the back of her mouth—and a broken jaw.
She was knocked unconscious during the attack and was beaten approximately 40 to 50 times.
Photos show her bloodied and swollen face, with heavy bruising around her neck and eyes.
In her own words, she described the attack: "He repeatedly punched the left side of my face, breaking my jaw and knocking out three teeth and also chipped my front top tooth," adding that Hoban had continued beating her even after she lost consciousness.
Stephanie expressed her fear of brain damage and is still awaiting dental work for her injuries.
She publicly shared these images to warn other women of Hoban's dangerous nature.
Hoban, aged 24, was initially charged with grievous bodily harm but pleaded guilty to a lesser offence of unlawful wounding before Leeds Crown Court, where he was sentenced to 16 months in jail.
Stephanie emphasized her desire to warn others, saying, "I want to warn other women out there of what this monster is." The court heard that Hoban’s assault was triggered by her refusal to have sex, after which he slammed her onto the bed and continued the assault.
She recounted how he threw her onto the floor, sat on her, strangled her, and punched her relentlessly.
The attack was so severe that she feared she might suffer brain damage.
Her story has garnered public attention, and she has shared these images on Facebook to raise awareness about domestic violence.
