In a case that has sent shockwaves through the Gainsborough community, Warren Smart, a 43-year-old man from Florence Street, Gainsborough, has been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after admitting to a series of heinous sexual offenses committed over a span of more than two decades.Smart appeared before Lincoln Crown Court to face charges that included eight separate sexual offences against four young victims, whose ages ranged from just seven years old to 13 at the time of the abuse.
