MAN PLEADED GUILTY AT TRURO CROWN COURT TO STALKING
Warren Reeves, aged 62 and residing in Carey Park, Killigarth, Looe, admitted to charges of stalking that involved inducing fear of violence between April 8 and May 4 in Killigarth.He appeared at Truro Crown Court and confessed to visiting his victim’s workplace demanding to see her, as well as contacting her friends and relatives to inquire about her whereabouts.
Reeves also pleaded guilty to causing damage to various vehicles and property, including a garage door and a Volkswagen Touran owned by a neighbour, as well as damaging a Ford Focus on Portuan Road, West Looe, a Peugeot on Mill Hill, Polperro, and a Vauxhall on Sunrising, Looe.
Additionally, he admitted to dangerous driving on Carey Park, Killigarth, and damaging a police cell at Looe Police Station on May 3.
Reeves faced further charges of threatening a man and a woman at Sunrising on May 3 and harassing a woman at Portuan Road, West Looe, from April 8 to May 3 through unwanted messages.
He also failed to provide a breath sample during a traffic investigation at Carey Park, Killigarth, on May 3.
The court remanded him in custody, and the case was postponed to August 28.
