A Didcot resident has been sentenced to prison after attacking his former partner towards the end of last year.

Waheed Amodu, of Diamond Drive, Didcot, appeared before Oxford Crown Court and pleaded guilty on April 2 to several violent offences, including assault and intentional strangulation.
