MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED RAPE ON BAKERLOO LINE TRAIN
Detectives from the British Transport Police (BTP) have charged a man in connection with an incident on a Bakerloo Line train on Saturday, 11 July.Vincent Saxon, aged 54 and born on 17 June 1972, with no fixed address, has been formally charged with attempted rape relating to the incident.
He was remanded in custody and was scheduled to appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 16 July.
A BTP spokesperson stated: "British Transport Police (BTP) detectives have charged a man in connection with an incident on board a Bakerloo Line train on Saturday 11 July.
Vincent Saxon, 54 (17.06.72), and of no fixed address, has been charged with Attempted Rape.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today (16 July)." The police are urging witnesses who have not yet come forward to assist with their enquiries.
