VICKY COOK FROM OAKHILL ADMITS TO POSSESSING CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE
In a case that has drawn significant attention, Vicky Cook, a 43-year-old woman residing on London Road in the village of Oakhill, has admitted to possessing indecent images of children. The incident came to light in February 2018 when Cook appeared before the North Staffordshire Justice Centre to face charges related to her possession of such illicit material.During the court proceedings, Cook pleaded guilty to the charge of possessing 33 images of a child abuse nature on her personal laptop. The court was informed that the images were stored digitally, and her admission marked a significant development in the case.
Following her plea, the case was temporarily adjourned to allow for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. Additionally, the court requested a letter from Cook’s psychiatrist to be submitted, likely to provide insight into her mental health and any potential mitigating factors.
