YOUNG MAN FOUND GUILTY OF SEX ACT ON TEEN IN OXFORD COURT
A 20-YEAR-OLD man named Tommy Fury has been convicted of engaging in sexual activity with a teenage boy in 2011.The incident took place in Chipping Norton and was brought to court where a jury in Oxford Crown Court deliberated for over seven hours before reaching a guilty verdict by a majority of 10 to two.
During the trial, the prosecuting lawyer, Charles Ward-Jackson, highlighted that Fury had performed a sex act on a teenage boy and questioned Fury about text messages sent from his phone that referenced the incident.
Fury denied sending the messages and stated he sometimes left his phone charging at a friend's house.
The prosecutor suggested that Fury's messages were accusing or blaming the victim and included a threat to reveal the incident to others, implying blackmail.
Fury was also cleared of an indecent assault charge involving another teenage boy, whom he was accused of kissing on the neck.
He was released on bail and is scheduled for sentencing the following month.
