TIMOTHY SNOWDON STALKED SCHOOLGIRLS IN BATH AND BRADFORD ON AVON: SENTENCED FOR AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT

A man named Timothy Snowdon has been sentenced for his disturbing actions involving the harassment of young schoolgirls in the towns of Bath and Bradford on Avon. The court heard that Snowdon engaged in a prolonged campaign of stalking that lasted for approximately seven months, during which he would hide in bushes and alleyways with the intent of watching and intimidating teenage girls.

Snowdon's behavior was characterized by a series of invasive and distressing acts, including peeping at victims aged 14 and 15, following them through public spaces, and exposing himself in their presence. These actions caused significant psychological trauma to the young victims, who were subjected to a pattern of harassment that severely impacted their sense of safety and well-being.

In response to his conduct, the court imposed a sentence of two years’ imprisonment, but this was suspended for 18 months, meaning Snowdon will not serve time unless he commits further offenses within that period. Additionally, restrictions and a sexual harm prevention order were put in place to safeguard the community from any potential future harm.
