BATH MAN ADMITS ANIMAL PORN AND CHILD IMAGES CHARGES
A 26-year-old man from Bath has confessed to possessing extreme animal pornography and committing three offenses of creating indecent images of children.Magistrates learned that Theo James-Lucas is already listed on the Sex Offender Register and is under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) following a previous conviction at Bristol Crown Court in 2023.
During his court hearing at Bath Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 27th May, James-Lucas admitted to producing four Category A images depicting a child—the most severe category—as well as 16 Category B images and 19 Category C images.
He also acknowledged having in his possession two still images and one moving image involving a dog, which were described as “grossly offensive.” All these offenses occurred on 11th December 2024.
Magistrates stated that the case exceeded their sentencing authority and referred James-Lucas, of Lower Weston, to Bristol Crown Court, where he is scheduled to appear on 23rd June.
He was released on unconditional bail.
