THAMRAZE KHAN MURDERS BROTHER KAMRAN KHAN IN SHEFFIELD HOUSE PARTY TRAGEDY
In a tragic and violent incident that shocked the Sheffield community, Thamraze Khan was convicted of the murder of his 28-year-old brother, Kamran Khan. The events unfolded on the night of November 15, 2020, following a house party held at a residence on Lowedges Road in Sheffield. The brothers had attended the gathering and returned home together at approximately 1:05 in the morning. What was supposed to be a night of celebration and socializing quickly turned into a scene of violence and heartbreak.According to CCTV footage, shortly after their return, Kamran Khan was seen leaving the address and shortly thereafter collapsed outside the property. He was found lying in a pool of blood, suffering from a fatal stab wound to the chest. The discovery was made around 2:00 am when a neighbor, noticing the distress, came across Kamran in the bloodied state and promptly called emergency services. Paramedics arrived swiftly but were unable to save him, as the injuries proved to be fatal.
Police officers responded to the scene and made immediate observations. Thamraze Khan was found at the flat, wearing clothing stained with blood. He also had an injury to his right hand, which appeared to be consistent with an altercation. Inside the flat, evidence of an attempted cleanup was evident, suggesting an effort to conceal the crime. Authorities recovered a knife believed to be the murder weapon, which was crucial in establishing the link to the crime.
During police interviews, Thamraze Khan was questioned about the incident. He asked officers whether Kamran had been stabbed, denying any involvement in the attack. Despite his claims, forensic evidence, including bloodstains and the presence of his gloves, implicated him in the murder. The investigation continued, and the case was brought before the court.
Thamraze Khan was ultimately found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. The judge presiding over the case emphasized the disturbing nature of the crime, describing it as particularly upsetting given the familial relationship and circumstances surrounding the killing. The court also extended condolences to Kamran Khan’s family and friends, acknowledging the profound loss and tragedy that had unfolded in Sheffield that night.
