JAIL FOR COUPLE WHO CAUSED OR ALLOWED HARM TO A FIVE-WEEK-OLD BABY

Two individuals have received a combined prison sentence of four years for their involvement in causing or permitting a child to experience physical injuries.

Sion Davies, aged 27 and from Townhill, was sentenced to two and a half years behind bars, while Tegan Dolphin, aged 22 from Mayhill, received a sentence of one and a half years.

In April 2020, a five-week-old baby was admitted to Morriston Hospital where a skeletal scan revealed a catalogue of non-accidental injuries including 13 fractures to their ribs and three fractures to their legs.
