MAN JAILED FOR MULTIPLE ATTEMPT RAPES
A man from Bradford has received a 13-year prison sentence after being found guilty of multiple attempted rapes and sexual assaults involving a child.Stuart Hartley, aged 47 and residing on Dudley Hill Road, was convicted on charges including two counts of attempted rape of a child under the age of 13, several sexual assault offenses against a child under 13, engaging in sexual activity with a child under 13, as well as two violations of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
The abuse occurred over a span from 2005 to 2013, with the victim aged between 4 and 12 years old during this period.
On 8 June, he was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court to a total of 15 years, with 13 years to serve in prison and the remaining two years on licence.
Hartley was already subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and was also issued an ongoing restraining order that prevents any contact with the victim indefinitely.
