FIFE TROLL STEWART MCINROY ADMITS TO CHOKING CAT ON FACEBOOK LIVE
Fife’s notorious online troll Stewart McInroy has once again shocked the public — this time admitting that choking his pet cat live on Facebook was “unforgivable.” Police were called after viewers witnessed McInroy grab the terrified feline, squeeze its neck, and threaten to kill it during a disturbing livestream. But this isn’t the first time the Dysart man has made headlines for cruelty and abuse.
McInroy previously spent 10 months in jail after trolling the grieving family of missing man Allan Bryant Jr, cruelly claiming “he was the killer” and torturing the father with horrific descriptions of violence.
Now, the 26-year-old has been jailed yet again — this time for stalking a woman linked to an online vigilante group that helps expose paedophiles.
He threatened to leak her home address and contact details to predators, chillingly telling her: “I’m not stalking you, I’m trolling you.” Fiscal depute Marie Irvine told Dundee Sheriff Court that McInroy sent the woman a Facebook “wave” just one day after being released from prison for a previous offence against her.
Sheriff John Rafferty branded McInroy a repeat offender, jailing him for nine months and stating: “You have a history of offending since 2007 with not one year when you have stopped — some with multiple offences.” Defence solicitor Alan Davie claimed McInroy had suffered a difficult upbringing and was living with PTSD, but the court heard his behaviour showed no signs of stopping.
