ST AUSTELL MAN JAILED FOR CHILD SEX CRIMES AND INDECENT IMAGES
Steven Valentine, aged 48 and residing on Trevarthian Road in St Austell, has been sentenced to a prison term of two years and six months after admitting guilt to seven sexual offenses in the case heard at Truro Crown Court.The incidents took place in Launceston in 2021 and included encouraging a 13-year-old girl to partake in sexual acts involving penetration as well as creating indecent images of children, with some falling into the most serious category A.
Additionally, Valentine has been issued a ten-year sexual harm prevention order, which places restrictions on his internet use.
The court ordered his incarceration for two and a half years and mandated the sexual harm prevention order, which will remain in effect for ten years, thereby restricting his online activities during this period.
