DUNDEE MAN CONVICTED OF MULTIPLE SEXUAL ASSAULTS AND VIOLENCE HANDED NEARLY FOUR YEARS
In a series of violent incidents, Steven Cameron assaulted and sexually attacked two women inside a Dundee flat, shortly after knocking a man unconscious days earlier.
The court sentenced Cameron to nearly three and a half years in prison after convicting him of multiple offences committed during June and July 2024.
On June 26, Cameron assaulted a man on Uist Terrace, resulting in the victim losing consciousness.
He then tried to hinder police investigations by instructing the man to lie and also threatened an officer who had detained him.
Later, on July 3, Cameron behaved aggressively at a Dundee address, shouting and swearing at two women, making sexual remarks.
He physically pushed the women, pulled their hair, and triped them to the ground, causing injuries.
Both women were sexually assaulted while clothed, with Cameron climbing on one woman and repeatedly pressing his body against her during the assault.
