STEPHEN BREWSTER BROXBOURNE HAIR FETISH PEDOPHILE JAILED FOR FOUR YEARS IN LUTON

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Broxbourne, Stephen Brewster, a 47-year-old man with a disturbing obsession, has been sentenced to four years in prison for a series of heinous crimes involving young boys. The offences, which took place across various locations including Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, and even as far as Newcastle and Norfolk, were revealed during a court hearing at Luton Crown Court on Friday, January 10.

Prosecutors detailed how Brewster, a former Tesco baker, exploited the vulnerabilities of teenage boys through online platforms. He actively searched through websites and chatrooms, targeting boys aged between 14 and 17, with the intent of grooming them for sexual activities. Brewster’s predatory behavior included requesting explicit photographs, specifically asking the boys to send pictures of themselves pulling their hair, and even going as far as asking them to cut off their hair and send it to him.

He was known to travel considerable distances, including trips to Newcastle and Norfolk, to meet the boys in person. One such meeting involved a teenager he met in Southend, whom Brewster brought back to his flat in Hertfordshire. During these encounters, Brewster would often conceal his true identity, pretending to be younger in chatrooms to lure the victims into trusting him. When they finally met face-to-face, the victims were often shocked to discover that Brewster was a middle-aged, overweight man.

Among the most disturbing incidents was an encounter on a beach in Hemsby, Norfolk, where Brewster met a 15-year-old boy. During this meeting, he pulled down his trousers and encouraged the boy to fondle him. In another incident, after bringing a young boy back to his flat, Brewster suggested he would cut the boy’s hair while the boy performed a sex act on him. The victim later expressed his distress, saying, “I really wish he was dead because then I know he’s never coming back to hurt me again.”

The police arrested Brewster at his home in Broxbourne last July. During the search, authorities discovered images of child sexual abuse on his computer, along with hair clippings from some of his young victims. Brewster’s criminal record includes multiple charges, such as causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, causing or inciting a child to engage in prostitution, meeting a child following sexual grooming, paying a child for sexual services, and engaging in sexual activity with a minor aged 15. He also admitted to possessing indecent images of children.

Throughout the court proceedings, Brewster’s defense argued that he was genuinely remorseful for his actions and the pain caused to his victims and their families. However, Judge Richard Foster was unequivocal in his assessment, describing Brewster as a danger to the public. The judge sentenced him to four years in prison, with Brewster required to serve at least two-thirds of his sentence before being eligible for parole. Additionally, Brewster was placed under an extended period of supervision through a Sexual Offences Prevention Order, aimed at preventing further harm.
