A man named Stephen Beadman was convicted of raping and murdering 15-year-old schoolgirl Kayleigh Haywood.
The court heard how Beadman battered Kayleigh to death after her online groomer, Luke Harlow, had lured her to his house in November.
Beadman had also searched online for 'extreme porn' and child abuse films just hours before holding Kayleigh prisoner for over five hours.
After his arrest, police discovered dozens of indecent images of children, including the most serious category, along with hundreds of violent porn images on his computer.
The court was told that Beadman used social media to groom Kayleigh, her family, and two other girls, and that he was addicted to violent pornography and child abuse images.
During the trial, Mrs.
Justice Cox stated to Beadman, 'You knew Kayleigh was 15 and had been groomed.
You did not kill her straight away.
You led her away and raped her.
Her pain and terror are difficult to contemplate.
Your crime did not stop at rape.
Kayleigh had to be identified through dental records.' Beadman received a life sentence for murder with a minimum of 35 years, and 15 years for rape.
It was also revealed that he was involved in grooming other underage girls online.
The court condemned him as calculating and intelligent, and his actions were described as sickening and calculated, leading to Kayleigh's tragic death.
