STEFAN RAMSDEN'S BRUTAL ATTACK IN NEWPORT LEAVES WOMAN TERRIFIED

A disturbing incident of domestic violence has unfolded in Newport, involving a man named Stefan Ramsden, whose actions have left a woman severely traumatized and injured.

According to reports, Ramsden subjected his former partner, Chelsea Jones, to a violent and terrifying assault that escalated to the use of a simulated firearm. The incident began with Ramsden physically attacking Ms. Jones, delivering punches, kicks, and even headbutts. He also used a belt to whip her, causing visible injuries and significant emotional distress.

During the assault, Ramsden humiliated Ms. Jones further by pouring Lucozade and milk over her, an act that added to her humiliation and suffering. The situation took a more threatening turn when Ramsden pulled out what appeared to be a firearm. He pressed the imitation weapon against her head and issued a chilling threat to kill her and her family, heightening the danger she faced.

As the attack continued, Ramsden's violence intensified. He lunged at her, grabbing her by the throat and forcing his fingers into her eyes. He demanded her phone password, which she reluctantly provided. Once in possession of her phone, Ramsden accessed her Snapchat account and continued his assault, which included more kicks, punches, and pouring drinks over her body.

In a further act of intimidation, Ramsden returned with the imitation firearm, pressing it against her cheek and threatening to kill her, her mother, and her grandmother within five seconds. The neighbors, alarmed by the violence and the sound of Ramsden whipping Ms. Jones with the belt, called the police. Ramsden then prevented her from opening the door, forcing her to escape to the balcony and make the emergency call.

When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, Ramsden was promptly arrested. It was later revealed that the firearm he used was a CO2-powered air pistol, which is legally owned but classified as a firearm under the law. Ms. Jones sustained multiple injuries, including lumps, bumps, a displaced nose, and extensive bruising, all of which testified to the severity of the assault.
