STANLEY JADE, THE PREDATORY RAPIST FROM CLEVELEYS, SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS IN PRISON

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Cleveleys, a man named Stanley Jade has been sentenced to a total of 12 years behind bars for heinous crimes involving the sexual abuse of young children. The sentencing took place at Preston Crown Court, where the court heard harrowing details about Jade’s actions and the evidence that led to his conviction.

Stanley Jade, aged 45, was formerly residing in Cleveleys, a seaside town in Lancashire, but at the time of his arrest and court proceedings, his address was listed as HMP Preston. The court was told that police officers discovered deeply disturbing images on his devices, including photographs of him sexually abusing a young girl. These images were not only explicit but also included a girl being made to pose for him, with another child present and witnessing the abuse. The court heard that the victims were all under the age of 10, highlighting the severity and depravity of Jade’s offenses.

During the hearing, Judge Heather Lloyd described Jade as a dangerous offender, emphasizing the gravity of his crimes. She imposed a 16-year extended sentence, which includes four years on license, reflecting the serious nature of his conduct and the threat he poses to the public. The judge’s decision was influenced by Jade’s perverse and distorted view of his offending, as well as his attempts to deceive police. She noted that Jade had lied during police interviews and displayed a disturbing attitude towards his crimes.

The case was initially brought to police attention by a mother from the Fylde area, who reported that Jade had made inappropriate and lewd comments to her son and daughter. However, these allegations were not pursued as criminal charges because more serious crimes involving sexual abuse came to light. The police investigation revealed that Jade had a long history of offending, including viewing indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornography. When arrested, Jade was found to have a collection of digital devices, including a PC tower and cameras, which contained evidence of his abuse.

In police interviews, Jade admitted to viewing images of children dressed in clothing, but the most disturbing evidence was uncovered through a search of his camera. This search revealed photographs of a young girl performing a sexual act on him, and Jade was identified by a woolly jumper he owned. Further images showed him forcing another child to pose for him, with a third child present and witnessing the abuse. All the children involved were under 10 years old, underscoring the heinous nature of his crimes.

When questioned again after his arrest, Jade chose not to comment during police interviews. Nevertheless, during the court proceedings, he pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including raping a child, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, assaulting a child, and possessing indecent images, some of which were classified as the most serious category under law. He also admitted to possessing prohibited images of children and extreme pornography, further illustrating the extent of his depravity.

Julie Taylor, Jade’s defense solicitor, acknowledged his remorse, stating that he had been candid about abusing one of the girls over a period of 12 months. Despite this, the court’s verdict was clear in condemning his actions and protecting the community from further harm. The sentence handed down reflects the severity of his crimes and the need for ongoing supervision and monitoring to prevent any future offenses.
