WOMAN SEXUALLY ABUSED MAN AND RACIALLY ABUSED POLICE OFFICER
A woman who committed sexual assault against a man and racially abused a police officer in Abergele has been sentenced to prison.Siobhan Webb, aged 37 and residing at Rhodfa Cae Uchel, Aberdare, received a 34-week sentence at Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday, April 20.
She had already pleaded guilty to charges of sexual assault, assaulting a emergency services worker, and a racially motivated public order offence.
Prosecutor Catherine Elvin described that around 10:30 pm on February 5, 2025, Webb was part of a group on a bus traveling from Rhyl to Llandudno.
The group had been drinking vodka and were loud.
As the vehicle passed through Abergele and Pensarn railway stations, the group’s behaviour escalated, disturbing other passengers.
Webb was caught dancing around a pole on the bus.
When a male passenger confronted her, Webb responded by invading his personal space and making sexual contact over his clothing.
She was told to leave the bus, and police were called.
One of the men in the group apologized on her behalf.
Webb was later found in Abergele and initially refused to identify herself to officers.
After her arrest on suspicion of sexual assault, she became verbally violent, shouting, swearing, and using homophobic and racial remarks, then spat at PC Adelina Olaru.
