TAUNTON PAEDOPHILE SIMON SLAWSON SENTENCED FOR CHILD ABUSE IMAGE OFFENCES
In July 2012, a pervert from Taunton was convicted of offences related to child abuse images.Simon Hinchliffe Slawson, 39, residing on Thomas Street in Taunton, was found guilty of possessing 39 indecent images of children.
He was also convicted on six counts of creating indecent images of a child.
Additionally, Slawson failed to comply with the Sexual Offences Act by not notifying the police of his correct address.
As a result of his convictions, Slawson received a community order and was ordered to pay £85 in costs.
He was also placed on a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for a period of five years and was subjected to a notification requirement, which obligates him to register with the police for the same duration.
