    A man from Burnley, Simon Richards, aged 50, has been handed a lengthy prison sentence after being found guilty of committing heinous sexual crimes against two young children. Richards pleaded guilty to a total of 11 charges, which included multiple counts of child rape, attempted rape of a minor, and the distribution of indecent images of children. His crimes came to light after the mother of one of his victims discovered disturbing sexual communications, which included shared indecent imagery involving her child.
