MAN JAILED FOR THREE YEARS FOR ASSAULTING WOMAN
A man received a three-year prison sentence following an assault on his partner in Aldershot.Shantua Graham, aged 32 and residing on Parsons Close, was convicted of attacking a woman in her 20s at a property in Aldershot on 16 August 2024.
During the incident, he punched her in the face, causing her to lose consciousness alongside notable bruising and swelling to her right eye.
Subsequently, Graham visited her home uninvited, issued threats, and continued to contact her through numerous unsolicited messages and calls after they had separated.
Law enforcement authorities initiated an inquiry and charged Graham with inflicting actual bodily harm through assault and with harassment.
He admitted to the charges and was sentenced to three years in prison at Winchester Crown Court on 12 December.
Additionally, Graham is now subject to a restraining order.
