SEAN MILLER FROM INVERURIE CAUGHT STALKING WOMEN NEAR INVERURIE ACADEMY

Sean Miller, a 22-year-old resident of Brandsbutt in Inverurie, has been at the center of a disturbing stalking case that has left two women feeling frightened and vulnerable. The incident, which spanned over six months, involved Miller repeatedly targeting women he once knew from Inverurie Academy, engaging in a series of invasive and threatening behaviors that have now led to legal action.

According to court reports from the Aberdeen Sheriff Court, Miller’s actions included turning up outside the homes of his victims in the early hours of the morning, often dressed in black and wearing a hood. These visits typically occurred around 3am, a time when the women would be least expecting visitors. On several occasions, Miller attempted to open their front doors, causing alarm and distress. The women documented these encounters through their Ring doorbell cameras, capturing footage of the masked man lurking outside their residences. One of the victims, aged 24, reported receiving footage of Miller outside her house, including on New Year’s Eve, which heightened her sense of fear. The other victim, aged 22, observed Miller loitering near her home and even took a photograph of her while she was studying in her kitchen, further intensifying her sense of vulnerability.

Between October 2022 and May of the following year, Miller’s harassment escalated through digital means. He created a profile on the online marketplace Vinted, under the alias Olivia, pretending to be a woman. Using this fake identity, he messaged the victims, requesting them to send pictures modeling revealing clothing. He also asked them to model specific outfits such as bikinis, high heels, and latex clothing, which raised suspicions and caused further distress. The victims eventually reported these incidents to the police. Investigators traced the Olivia profile back to Miller by analyzing Vinted’s IP address, leading to his identification as the perpetrator.

When confronted by law enforcement, Miller’s victims expressed their shock and described feeling 'freaked out' by his actions. One woman admitted she never suspected him to be involved, highlighting the betrayal of trust. Both women have since become highly security-conscious, fearing that Miller’s behavior might continue or escalate in the future.
