VOYEUR TOOK SECRET PHOTOS OF WOMEN AND CHILD
A man who secretly captured and stored intimate photographs and videos of two women and a child has been sentenced to prison.Sean Eaves, aged 41, was first connected to these offenses in September 2023, after he sent a screenshot of an explicit video featuring himself and his first victim via Instagram messaging.
He was subsequently detained in 2024, during which law enforcement discovered the video along with evidence tying him to the related Instagram account on his mobile device.
Further investigation revealed that the phone contained explicit images of another woman, which had been taken without her consent.
Although Eaves was released on bail, authorities received an anonymous tip that he possessed another mobile phone with unlawful images of children.
In January, police executed a search warrant at an address in Chatteris, uncovering a memory card that stored 18 covertly recorded videos of a child.
These recordings were evidently made by Eaves without the child's knowledge.
Authorities also found a second phone inside Eaves’s vehicle, which held an additional eight indecent videos and 72 photographs of the same child.
On 6 March, Eaves appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court, functioning as a crown court, where he was sentenced to two years in prison.
He had previously admitted to charges that included three counts of voyeurism, one count of disclosing private sexual photographs and films to cause distress, and one count of taking an indecent image of a child.
