SCOTT WESTLAKE FROME DOG ABUSE SHOCKER: MAN PUNCHES PET IN THE FACE
In a disturbing incident that has shocked the local community of Frome, Scott Westlake, born on December 7, 1987, and residing at 9 Austin Close, Frome BA11 5AY, was found guilty of inflicting harm on a dog named Dogger.The assault occurred after Westlake became visibly angry over having to clean up a mess made by the dog, leading him to violently punch the animal in the face.
Neighbours, disturbed by the sounds of what they believed to be animal abuse, contacted the RSPCA to report their concerns.
When inspectors arrived at the scene, they discovered Dogger with a fresh cut to his eye, indicating recent trauma.
The RSPCA inspector instructed Westlake to take the injured dog to a veterinarian immediately.
However, Westlake delayed this action, only taking Dogger to the vet two days later.
The veterinarian's examination revealed that the injury to Dogger's eye was consistent with being struck by a human fist.
