SCOTT STRACHAN OF BRECHIN SENTENCED AFTER PAEDOPHILIA INCIDENTS IN FORFAR

Scott Strachan, a resident of Brechin, was caught in police stings conducted simultaneously by officers posing as a schoolgirl he desired.

During the online encounters, he expressed his intention to take the girl to a Premier Inn, falsely claiming she was his daughter and offering her cider.

The disturbing behavior was uncovered as part of a police operation targeting his inappropriate conduct.

Strachan appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court to face sentencing after admitting to attempts to communicate indecently with two children.
