After being charged and released on bail, Moffat continued engaging with six additional decoy accounts.
This evidence was handed over to law enforcement, leading to his apprehension in June 2024.
He uses a pseudonymous account named Shaun.
Authorities believe he interacts with several children online.
Moffat states that he grooms children out of boredom.
During conversations, he asked the minor if she prefers men or boys.
